If you are beginner you might start with 1 or 2 tanks of at least 10000 liters.
One such tank takes up to 4 Dia meters of area, if you are planning to do commercial fish farming you need to do your maths.
What production capacity you are planning to establish ? and accordingly how many tanks will be need to harvest planned quantity including reserves tanks?
Reserve tanks will be needed for water maintenance and sorting of seeds as per the size. (Big size fish can’t be left with small one) For profitable select setup as per your available land.

Check the type of fish selling in market near you

Before starting fish farm it is common sense to decide the bread of the fish you are going to harvest. Visit local market and asker seller which fish and what size on what approx cost they will buy from you. Get the idea for the most profitable harvest before starting to work on tank setup

Working capital for 6 months

Although you could harvest your crop in 4-5 months but it is advisable to keep working capital for 6 months.
Enough money to run day to day activity till you sell your harvest in the market.
You need to calculate feed cost, Probiotics, labour, electricity, and other relevant cost. You should also keep in mind when type of seed and when they will be able to reach sellable size.

You will not be able to figure it out quickly by yourself.
As you panic you need to consult someone on urgent basis.

It is advisable to select trainer who would be able to help you over the phone or pay quick visit. You can can also get the numbers of some other experienced farmer near you who would be able to provide support in case of emergency
