Prepare the ground for Biofloc tank in 3-Steps

We are taking 10,000 liters tank of 4 diameter. We are going to fill 4 diameters of tarpaulin tank with 10000 liters of water, that’s lots of weight. We need to prepare sold ground.

Step -1

Mark the ground with a circle of 4 diameters. In the center of the circle dig hole for the drainage outlet. Dig for the drainage pipe connecting the outlet to the drainage chamber ( refer to the illustration )

Make 6 inc slope from the outlet to the drainage chamber. 

Step -2

Use concrete to strengthening and leveling the ground in the circle. This is Absolutely necessary as rain might soften the ground and sink the tank which could prevent the drainage outflow. 

Don’t listen to anyone, the base of the tank should be solid to prevent any sinkage

Step-3

Construct the brick structure around the circle to support the iron frame or mesh for tarpaulin tank.
